Tim Greenwood and Associates are appointed to provide building surveying advice on Electricity House in Bristol. We are appointed by the Management Company to provide professional advice on the iconic 1930’s Grade II Listed Art Deco building built by Charles Gilbert Scott.
The building was formerly the head office for the South West Electricity Board. It was later used in the aviation industry for the construction of aircraft and is now a residential block. The iconic building now provides high quality residential accommodation in the centre of Bristol. The luxurious apartments retain the Grade II listed interiors.
Tim Greenwood and Associates are delighted to advise on this unique and iconic building. The initial instruction included the preparation of the Reinstatement Costs Assessment for insurance purposes. This assessment includes the bespoke construction and features of the Grade II Listed building.
The instruction also includes the preparation of a Planned Maintenance Plan to identify the works anticipated in the next 10 years, along with budget costs for those works. We will also be acting as contract administrator in dealing with roof repairs and works to the central atrium.
Tim Greenwood and Associates are working alongside the Alexander Faulkner Partnership, a leading South East Property Management Company on this instruction.
