Commercial Building Survey – Banstead, Surrey

We received instructions from our Client who was looking to take the Lease of a commercial premises in Banstead Surrey. The premises consisted of the ground floor of the of the building which was a former converted 1930’s semi-detached house. Our Client was looking to take the ground floor commercial accommodation.

The ground floor was previously occupied but a vets practice and the internal condition of the demise reflected its former use. Whilst our Client was taking the ground floor Lease they would also share liability for the maintenance costs of the common parts.

We undertook a survey of the property. This inspection included the external common parts elements along with the internal areas of the proposed demise. We prepared the report discussing each of the internal and external elements in turn. The report identified the nature of each element and setting out their respective condition. The report also included supporting photographs.
