Like all businesses we awaited the latest Government’s latest update last night on the restrictions that are impacting us all. All businesses are feeling the effects of the restrictions and we are working to support our Clients though this period. We are also working with our Clients to assist in planning for future instructions and projects.
We currently have a number of construction projects which were on site when the lockdown came into force. Most projects are continuing on site where it is safe to do so. We are ensuring that the health, safety and well being of all those on site and our staff is maintained. We are only undertaking essential site inspections and adhering to social distancing. This includes only travelling to sites by car.
Whilst working with our Client on existing projects, we are also working with our Clients on future ones. We are preparing for instructions both construction based and where our professional services are required.
We are working with our Clients to draft specifications and tender documentation in preparation for future construction projects. This allows our Clients to be ready to tender works and progress their projects once the Government restrictions are lifted.
Whilst property transactions are impacted we continue to provide dilapidation’s advice where leases are expiring. We can review leases for both landlords and tenants and offer professional advice on the tenants liabilities. We are also able to set out strategies for dealing with dilapidations.
Working in the current climate is extremely challenging for all. Tim Greenwood and Associates remains focused on delivering sound building surveying advice to all our Clients. We providing advice for both current and future projects.
